How we make money
At present the site earns nothing. It carries no advertising, no affiliate links and no paid mentions, and no gambling operator has paid or been asked to pay for anything on it.

Why there are no operator links
This is a legal matter as much as an editorial one. The Advertising Regulations, 2026 define an advertisement as any form of communication that promotes or is intended to promote participation in a gambling activity (r.2). Section 87(1) of the Gambling Control Act, 2025 prohibits promoting gambling advertisements without the Authority's approval, and r.14 of the Regulations makes publishing an unapproved gambling advertisement an offence.
A link that sends readers to an operator in exchange for a commission would be promotion on a plain reading of those words. The site therefore runs without any such link.
What would have to happen before that changed
- Approval
Written approval from the Gambling Regulatory Authority under the Advertising Regulations, or a written legal opinion that a given format falls outside them.
- Disclosure first
This page would be rewritten before any commercial element went live, naming the type of arrangement.
- Labelling
Any commercial link would be marked as such where it appears.
- No effect on the reference content
The rules in the editorial policy on sources and on what is never published would continue to apply.
None of these steps has been taken. If you find anything on the site that looks like a paid placement, it is a mistake and should be reported under the corrections policy.
