Terms of use
By reading this site you accept that it offers general information for adults, not advice and not a gambling service, and that the official sources it cites take priority over anything written here.
1. What the site is
WebTech Kenya (webtechkenya.com) publishes reference material about the payment, account, security, data and tax mechanics of licensed online gambling in Kenya. It does not operate, sell or promote gambling. It takes no bets, holds no money and opens no accounts.
2. Who may use it
The site is intended for persons aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, do not use it as a guide to gambling: online gambling is closed to you by law.
3. Information, not advice
Nothing here is legal, tax, financial or medical advice. The guides summarise and quote public documents. A summary can be wrong or out of date. Where a page and its source differ, the source is right. For a decision that matters, read the source or consult a qualified professional.
4. Accuracy and dates
Each guide shows the date it was last updated and the date each source was read. Fees, limits, tax rates, telco codes and the regulator's list of licensees change. You are responsible for checking the current position on the official page before relying on a figure. Errors are handled under the corrections policy.
5. Operators named on the site
A company's appearance in a table taken from the regulator's list is a statement that the list contained that entry on the date shown. It is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a confirmation that the licence is still valid.
6. Your own conduct
You agree not to use material from this site to mislead others, to promote gambling, or to attempt to get around verification, age checks, limits or self-exclusion. If gambling is harming you, the responsible gambling page lists where to turn.
7. Responsibility
The site is provided as it is, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, the publisher accepts no liability for losses arising from gambling, from reliance on a page, or from the acts of operators, payment providers or third parties. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law does not allow to be removed.
8. Copying
You may quote short passages with a link to the page. Statutory text quoted on the site belongs to its own publishers.
9. Publisher and changes
The publisher's legal entity has not yet been published; the about page records the current status. These terms may be revised, and the date under the heading shows the latest version.
