This site does not ask for your name, phone number or any account, sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Like every website, the servers that deliver it process technical request data.

What the pages do in your browser
Each page is a single static HTML file with its styles included. Fonts are served by this site. One resource comes from another company: the Google Analytics measurement script covered in the next section. Separately, a few lines of the site's own script open the menu on small screens, mark the current section in the sidebar and build the "on this page" list; that part stores nothing on your device and sends nothing anywhere.
Visit measurement with Google Analytics
The pages load the Google Analytics 4 tag from googletagmanager.com so the publisher can see how many visits each guide gets and which country and device type they come from. The tag runs in consent mode, with advertising storage and ad personalisation set to denied.

You can reopen the analytics choice at any time, or clear this site's data in your browser. Google processes what the tag sends under Google's privacy policy. The site never sends Google your name, phone number or anything about a gambling account, because it never has them.
Technical data processed by servers
When your browser requests a page, the hosting server and any content delivery network in front of it receive the data every web request carries: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the browser's description of itself. Such a network may also set a strictly technical cookie of its own for security purposes. This data is used to deliver pages, keep the service running and resist abuse. The site has no means of linking it to a name.
If an editorial email address is published on the contact page and you write to it, your address and message will be used only to deal with what you wrote about. Do not send identity documents, PINs, passwords or gambling account details.
Your rights
Kenya's Data Protection Act gives a data subject the right to be informed of the use of their personal data, to access it, to object to its processing and to have false or misleading data corrected or deleted (s.26). Requests about data connected with this site can be sent through the editorial channel once it is published. The publisher's legal entity has not yet been published, which this page will correct when it is.
A data subject may also complain to the Data Commissioner under s.56 of that Act. The glossary of personal data terms explains the vocabulary.
Children
The site is written for adults aged 18 and over. It has no forms or accounts through which anyone, of any age, could submit personal details.
Changes
Analytics was switched on on 2026-10-04, in the same release that rewrote this page. If the site ever adds forms or any commercial element, this page will be changed before that happens, and the date under the heading will show it.
